
Jaime Aron has been covering sports in Texas
for The Associated Press since 1991,
and has been the Texas Sports Editor for AP since 1999.
He’s covered the Summer & Winter Olympics,
Super Bowl, World Series, Final Four, NBA finals,
Stanley Cup finals and more.
He received the state Sports Story of the year award
from The Headliner’s Foundation in 1999 and was the national
AP Sports Writer of the Year for 2001.
He also is the author of
Tales from the Dallas Mavericks
and co-author of I Remember Tom Landry.
Jaime lives in Dallas with his wife, Lori,
their sons, Zac, Jake and Josh,
and their dog, Coach.
The Arons proudly served as the Ambassador Family
for the local chapter of the March of Dimes in 2007,
helping raise money and awareness in the
fight against prematurity so more families can have
the happy ending they’ve had.
